Tom Donnelly

Tom Donnelly is Co-Founder and VP Marketing and Sales of Sandvine Incorporated, a network technology company committed to providing service providers with tools for realizing new operational efficiencies and reducing ongoing network costs. Tom is a popular speaker and recognized authority on broadband market issues, recently addressing audiences at Service Provider Europe in London, CONNECTIONS 2003 in San Jose and NTCA ISP EXPO 2003 in Miami.
A highly accomplished telecommunications entrepreneur, Tom was an integral part of the executive team behind PixStream, one of Canada’s most successful technology startups. Launched in 1997, PixStream was sold to Cisco Systems in 2000 for more than $500 million.
Tom directs Sandvine’s global marketing, sales and business development strategy. Prior to Sandvine he was vice president of strategic partners at PixStream and, following PixStream’s acquisition, responsible for marketing and business development for Cisco’s video networking business unit. Tom’s international experience includes executive level positions overseeing operations in the US, UK and Netherlands; as well as extensive experience living and working in Asia.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University and is a graduate of the Wharton executive development program.
