Introduction
Steven Montgomery is Executive VP for 2D2C Inc. and President of OFI Inc. (the operations arm of 2D2C Inc.) 2D2C develops and patents technologies that reduce or eliminate household electrical fires and electrocutions. Steven is responsible for the development, manufacturing, marketing, sales and customer service for Safeplug. Under his direction, OFI products are now entering the marketplace and receiving a positive reception.
History
Steven's work experience includes holding the positions of President, Vice President and Board of Directors within several electrical, enterprise software and technology manufacturing organizations. Throughout his 27-year career, he has consistently achieved corporate growth and profit objectives by way of his business leadership and marketing expertise.
Previously, as President of SST (now a division of Molex), Mr. Montgomery focused the business, structured teams, and initiated profitability programs to quickly turn around the company from loss to profits. He has been responsible for design engineering, manufacturing, logistics, marketing, sales, finance, and human resources. As VP Technology of SST, he led a select team for ultra-fast, low-cost development and launch of successful new products.
For ten years prior to his work at 2D2C and OFI, he managed sales for Aspen Technologies (enterprise software) and for LeCroy Corporation (precision test equipment). In these roles, Mr. Montgomery grew sales at over 100% per year, through adverse economies and in highly competitive environments.
He has also worked in international sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing operations in both publicly-traded and start-up companies. Mr. Montgomery received an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Washington and was licensed as a Professional Engineer in Washington State. He was one of the inventors of the 2D2C Inc. patented technologies.
