Introduction

Jon Rohr is the publisher and editor of Exchange Business Communications, a family run publishing house located in Waterloo, Ontario. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Jon began his publishing career in 1990 after he joined the Fairway Group, a division of Southam Communications. In 1991, he became operations manager of Fairway Groups magazine department. The department published five titles. Mr. Rohr is currently president of Jon R. Group Ltd., a publishing company he founded in 1997. Jon R. Group Ltd. has seven employees.

Additional activities include Mr. Rohrs involvement as a director of Canada's Technology Triangle and as a director of the Better Business Bureau of Mid-western Ontario. Mr. Rohr was a founding board of director of the Walter Bean Grand River Trail, and was a director of Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region, and the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. [edit] Personal

Mr. Rohr resides in Waterloo, is married and has three daughters.

Community Involvement

In addition to Mr. Rohr's involvement as a director of Canada's Technology Triangle and as a director of the Better Business Bureau of Mid-western Ontario, Mr. Rohr was a founding board of director of the Walter Bean Grand River Trail, and was a director of Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region, and the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. Jon is actively involved in numerous committees and projects, including organizations such as the United Way, Brain Tumor Research, Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation, the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and KW Lightning Basketball Association.
