Introduction

Brad is chief operating officer and vice president of engineering at Sandvine. He manages all stages of product development from conceptualization to final product manufacturing release. Brad holds a bachelor of applied science degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Prior to Sandvine, Brad was vice president of engineering and co-founder of PixStream, along with Marc Morin. At PixStream, Brad developed and led a 100+ engineering team, while establishing production and manufacturing processes. Following the acquisition by Cisco, Brad became Director of Engineering for the Video Networking Business Unit.

Brad has also co-founded and advised a third company, Kaparel, which was acquired by Rittal in 2000.

Brad has strong connections to UW and sits on the Board of Governors at St. Paul's College. He is also a technical advisor for the Waterloo venture capital fund Tech Capital Partners, founded by fellow alumnus Tim Jackson, BA '92.
