A Celebration of Entrepreneurship

thewaterlooway.com is home to the many stories of entrepreneurship in Waterloo Region and the new Waterloo Region Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. It celebrates the region's bold and resilient entrepreneurial community and - for the first time - gives you one place to learn about the men and women who built a region that is today the envy of communities across Canada.

It's a celebration that's long overdue.

The need for an Entrepreneur Hall of Fame was articulated in a 2002 report by the Prosperity Council of Waterloo Region, a federation formed to collectively create an environment that supports opportunities for prosperity in the region. Others echoed the need and today, the Hall of Fame and its website are a reality. Stay tuned as we continue to evolve.
